The candidate is selected on the basis of his profile showcasing that the applicant has the right skills, education, work experience to be able to make a positive contribution to the local economy and society.
Important Facts to keep in mind while looking for a PNP-
Some PNP’s are aligned with the Federal Express Entry, wherein they are required to have candidates' active profile in the Express Entry which is then linked with PNP – EOI application.
Some of the PNP’s may require an applicant to have a valid job offer from a Canadian Employer while some PNP’s do not have any such requirements.
Some PNP Canada streams allow individuals to apply directly, without first being invited to apply, while other streams operate on an EOI basis, whereby eligible individuals must first be invited to apply before submitting an application.
Upon securing a successful nomination from the province, one can add 600 CRS points thereby increasing the chances of getting an Invitation to Apply from IRCC sooner.
